Coverage for the years before Medicare.
Not everyone we help is turning 65. If you're self-employed, between jobs, retired early, or covering a spouse or dependent who isn't Medicare-eligible yet, we help you find individual or family health coverage that fits.
What it is
Individual and family health insurance covers people who don't have coverage through an employer and aren't yet eligible for Medicare. That includes people who are self-employed, in between jobs, retired earlier than 65, or covering a spouse or child who needs their own policy.
These plans are different from Medicare in structure, they're built around monthly premiums, deductibles, and networks similar to an employer plan, and options vary by household income, age, and where you live in Kansas.
For households approaching 65 with one spouse already Medicare-eligible and one who isn't yet, this often means managing two different kinds of coverage at once. We help sort out both sides so nothing falls through the gap between them.
Who this fits
- You're self-employed or your employer doesn't offer coverage
- You retired before turning 65
- You have a spouse or dependent who isn't Medicare-eligible
- You're between jobs and need a bridge until your next coverage starts
What we do for you
Understand your household situation
Income, ages, and who needs coverage all shape which options apply to you. We start there before looking at any plan.
Compare available plans and networks
We lay out the individual and family options that fit your household, including which doctors and hospitals are in network.
Coordinate with Medicare timing
If one spouse is nearing 65, we plan the handoff so coverage lines up instead of leaving a gap or overlap.
Help with enrollment
We walk through the application with you so it's submitted correctly and within the right window.
Not on Medicare yet? We can still help.
Whether you're years away from 65 or coordinating coverage for a spouse who is, we'll help you find a plan that actually fits your household.
